WHO I AM

How i work?

My name is Noudemali Romuald ZANNOU, Attorney at Geneva Bar. I am a meticulous lawyer in judicial practice and at the same time conciliatory for the amicable resolution of disputes in the interest of the client. I have studied law at the University of Geneva and I practice independently. However, my vision of advocacy is part of the widespread belief that unity is strength. So, with other colleagues sharing the same values as me, we created the association ANAJUCO. Without indicating the identity of its client, each member submits the case that has been entrusted to the other for analysis. The lawyer in charge of the case constructs his line of defense, taking into account, if necessary, the opinion of the others.

Penal procedure

  • As an accused, it is essential to be assisted at the first hearing by a lawyer because often hearings conducted by the investigating authorities may destabilize the accused to a point that the accused errs in his statements. It is for this reason that it is necessary to contact his lawyer as soon as possible so that an adequate defense strategy is put in place to avoid any error which may prove difficult to correct later.

  • As a victim, for certain procedures, a complaint must be filed within a specified time limit. The lawyer assesses the situation and proposes the necessary steps to be taken to preserve your rights.

FEES

Fees

There is no official guideline in Switzerland that sets the amount of lawyers’ fees. The hourly rate often charged varies between CHF 300.- and CHF 500.-. However, it is possible to obtain a lower rate depending on your financial situation by discussing with the lawyer. Also, anyone who does not have sufficient financial resources to defend himself or herself in a case where he or she is likely to succeed may make a request to the Court for legal assistance. The Firm will assist any client who requests it.

If legal assistance cannot be obtained, the remuneration will be proportionate to the time devoted to the work, the importance (notably litigation valuation) of the case, its difficulty, the responsibility assumed, and the circumstances of the client.

The Firm may reach an agreement with each client on a specific mode of remuneration. Depending on the type of file, a flat rate may be applied. In some cases, a reduced fee may be agreed upon, but there may be added to this fee a performance reward.
